SAND DUNES

Today Barry had to work. The boys and I went to church and then spent the day with friends at the Sand Dunes at Moses Lake. We went with The Richins and Garcia family. The boys enjoyed playing in the sand, swimming, jumping off the boat etc!! Seth, Tayton and Gage went down a Slip N Slide into the Lake that some people had set up. They had fun and I was just happy no one got hurt!! We finished the day at Ryan & Syd Richins home and Barry met us there after work. It was a GREAT day!!

2nd Place in Motocross Race

We just got back from the Dirt bike races in Ephrata. What fun!! Barry raced in the intermediate class and took 2nd place. He raced a few weeks ago and got 2nd also. The boys are so proud of him. Barry gave each of them 1 of his trophies for their trophy shelf. They like to watch him race but I think they really like the trophies!!! It's fun to see Barry out doing something he LOVES. Our friends Casey & Lisa's son Tayton also raced with the little guys in the 50cc race. He got 3rd place and was so happy because his name will be in the newspaper. He told me he already had too many 4th place trophies and needed a 3rd place one. Sure enough HE DID IT!! Way to go Tayton Garcia (Tow Tow)!!!

Fun times at the beach!!

We had a great time playing on the beach! We decided a while ago it was time for our boys to see where we met and both lived for a while. Barry and I had not been back to Cannon Beach in about 8 years. There were quite a few changes! It brought back such great memories of times at Ecola and when our little love match started!! Seth & Ezra loved the beach and want to go back again soon!!!

Zoo, hotel and a pool

Our family trip started with the first night staying in a hotel outside of Portland, Oregon and then to the zoo before heading to the beach. I think we could have stayed in a hotel anywhere and they would have had fun. They were SO excited to stay in a hotel. As soon as we got to our room the were jumping back and forth between beds. They were pointing our everything. "Look mom a microwave, a fridge wow it's just like home" The sweetest on was from Ezra " Mom, Mom they even have a coffee maker just for you!!" He was so excited that they had that for me!! After that excitment was over they wanted to go straight to the pool but first we had to eat. So off we went to Shari's right outside the hotel for Breakfast for dinner!! What a treat to have breakfast for dinner!!

Family, Fun, Friends & Fireworks!!

4th of July at our House

We were so excited to have people coming to our house to celebrate the 4th. Missy, Kevin & Caleb came. Missy's good friend from college Barb and her family came from Boise, ID also. We all had a great time. Kevin taught the kids how to make alka seltzer rockets. After that the BIG "kids" decided to make rockets out of mentos & coke. They bought tons of coke and kept going back for more. We thought they were crazy but were happy they were having fun. It was fun to see my nephew Caleb! He is getting so BIG. He is so busy and not much of a snuggler unless he is tired or watching tv. LOL I was happy to get a kiss as you will see in the pictures below! The kids all had blue hair to celebrate. We watched fireworks from our yard on the trampoline. What a fun weekend with family, friends & fireworks!!
